Smartnav will calculate the best route for you using, live, historic, forecast and incident based traffic information. The maps are stored outside of the vehicle in a powerful computer at the Trafficmaster headquarters.

This means that you never need worry about road changes or closures, because the Smartnav will update them all for you – at no added cost.

All you need do to get started is simply press the small unobtrusive button on your dashboard and you will be instantly connected to a Smartnav operator. The operator will then ask for your destination, and then program your route into the powerful smartnav computer. Once calculated the route will be download to your vehicles onboard unit, then when you are ready to commence your journey the verbal instructions will guide you through, turn-by-turn to your destination.

Safe Speed can be added to provide a comprehensive safety camera warning system that alerts users to zones monitored by fixed, variable and multiple camera detectors (also known as specs).

Touch Screen is a feature rich LCD visual display, which perfectly complements Smartnav’s audible step-by-step instructions, dynamically guiding drivers around traffic jams to their specified destination. Touch Screen can be installed discreetly into vehicles and is designed specifically for drivers who would appreciate the comfort of visual instructions to accompany Smartnav’s spoken instructions. It can also help you comply with the new mobile phone hands free law as you can divert your mobile phone to receive incoming calls through the Touch Screen.
