Using highly sensitive motion sensors, the 24 hour RAC Trackstar control centre automatically notifies the owner if the vehicle has been moved illegally. With GPS technology, the control centre monitors the movement of the vehicle, tracking the location, speed and direction and then continuously updates the police on its position. The vehicle is then guarded until it is collected and returned to your home, free of charge by the RAC.

RAC Trackstar calculates that using its system, average recovery time of a stolen vehicle is 59 minutes, compared to 4.5 hours published by other leading vehicle tracking companies.

RAC Trackstar provides Emergency and Breakdown support, so if you have a problem with your vehicle or have an accident or even witness an accident, simply push the in-car emergency button and the National Control Centre immediately provides your details and exact location to the appropriate emergency and breakdown service. The microphone and speaker enable you to talk directly to an emergency operator, who will reassure you and let you know when help will arrive.
